For the seventh consecutive year, the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association recognized Doylestown Hospital with the Stroke Gold Plus Award for the hospital's commitment to providing the most appropriate stroke treatment according to evidence-based guidelines.

Doylestown Hospital also received the association's Target: StrokeSM Elite Plus award. Doylestown Hospital is recognized with the Heart Failure Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award for the sixth consecutive year. The award recognizes the hospital's commitment to ensuring heart failure patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally recognized, research-based guidelines founded in the latest scientific evidence. The goal is speeding recovery and reducing hospital readmissions for heart failure patients.

In addition, Doylestown Hospital received the Get With The Guidelines®-Resuscitation Gold Plus Award (Adult) for implementing specific quality improvement measures outlined by the American Heart Association for the treatment of patients who suffer cardiac arrests in the hospital.

For the first time, Doylestown Hospital received the American Heart Association's Get With The Guidelines®-AFIB Bronze Quality Achievement Award for implementing specific quality improvement measures outlined by the American Heart Association guidelines for the management of patients with atrial fibrillation.

The American Heart Association's Mission: Lifeline program's goal is to reduce system barriers to prompt treatment for heart attacks, beginning with the 9-1-1 call, to EMS transport and continuing through hospital treatment and discharge. Doylestown Hospital received the Mission: Lifeline® Gold Plus Receiving Quality Achievement Award for implementing specific quality improvement measures outlined by the American Heart Association for the treatment of patients who suffer severe heart attacks.

Doylestown Hospital has also received the American College of Cardiology's NCDR ACTION Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award for 2018.
