A Message to Our Community About Ebola
March 22, 2015
Doylestown Hospital is prepared to prevent and control all infections, including Ebola. In light of international concern regarding the Ebola virus, we have updated our procedures, are providing additional training and education for staff, and are evaluating all patient safety measures.
Every patient seeking services at Doylestown Hospital or our outpatient facilities is being asked about their travel history. Visitors are also greeted with signage instructing them to go to the Emergency Department if they have traveled to West Africa in the last three weeks to inform a medical professional.
The most complete and up-to-date information about the Ebola virus can be found on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention site.
