Center for Heart and Vascular Care

The expansion of the Center for Heart and Vascular Care at Doylestown Hospital is about to achieve a major milestone. Construction of the steel frame is set to begin mid-June to the 100,000-square-foot "hospital within the Hospital" on the flagship campus of Doylestown Health. In addition to bringing together under one roof the exceptional team of cardiothoracic and endovascular surgeons, electrophysiologists, and interventional and medical cardiologists, the highly anticipated expansion will include features such as:

  • An expanded surgical suite featuring a newly opened endovascular hybrid operating suite
  • Pre- and post-procedure space
  • Newly upgraded equipment and advanced technologies
  • New patient recovery area with upgraded equipment and amenities for patient and family comfort
  • Thirty universal CVICU/IVU private beds

The new and cutting edge Center for Heart and Vascular Care is scheduled to open in 2019.

A Sneak Peek at Construction

The architectural and construction teams at Norwood–McManus have created an animated video to simulate this milestone. It details how the steel will be assembled to form the infrastructure that will be become the latest jewel in Doylestown Health's growing health system.
