February 2022 Community Education

Doylestown Health remains committed to bringing quality education to the community. Join Doylestown Health certified health education specialists and nutritionists, local mental health professionals and other select local professionals as they present important subject matter.

Doylestown Health is pleased to offer both in-person and virtual classes and events. We also offer an outdoor, socially distanced, low-impact exercise and health education activity called Walk With a Doc. Registration is required.

Virtual Learning Made Easy

Follow these easy steps to pre-register for a virtual class:

  2. You will receive an email in advance of the class start time containing a link to follow on the day of the scheduled virtual class.
  3. Mark your calendar!

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Wednesday, February 9, 2022 – Noon to 12:30 pm

Gray skies and long cold weather days make the couch look quite nice. However, if you notice you start feeling "under the weather" for longer than 2 weeks, you may be experiencing SAD or Seasonal Affective Disorder. Darkness to Light Training

Tuesday, February 15, 2022 – 12 to 2 pm

One in 10 children will be sexually abused before their 18th birthday. Darkness to Light is a non-profit committed to empowering adults to prevent child sexual abuse. This in-person, interactive training will help adults prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. To register, please email education@dh.org by 2/8/2022.

Join us for Walk With a Doc at Delaware Valley University with our guest speaker, Eric A. Marchant, MD from Doylestown Health's Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine. Dr. Marchant will lead a brief health discussion indoors on wound care and then participants will walk outside around the beautiful campus. Please note, masks are required indoors.
