Doylestown Health remains committed to bringing quality education to the community. Join Doylestown Health certified health education specialists and nutritionists, local mental health professionals and other select local professionals as they present important subject matter.

Doylestown Health is pleased to offer FREE classes and events in July. Learn from the comfort of your own home! We also offer an outdoor, socially distanced, low-impact exercise and health education activity called Walk With a Doc. Registration is required.

Virtual Learning Made Easy

Follow these easy steps to pre-register for a virtual program:

  2. You will receive an email in advance of the class start time containing a link to follow on the day of the scheduled virtual.
  3. Mark your calendar!
  4. At the time of your scheduled virtual(s), using a smartphone, tablet, or computer, locate the confirmation email and click the "Join Virtual" link OR "Click Here to Join" link. Please note, some virtual events may require a password to join – this can be found in the registration confirmation email.

Join a Doylestown Health Wellness Educator to help you decipher the differences between "natural, organic, and GMO.” Walk away with an improved understanding and ability to make decisions while shopping, without falling victim to fancy marketing gimmicks that can hurt your health and your wallet.

Psychology of Coping with Change and Society Post COVID-19 (Virtual)

The ability to cope with change is key to living healthy, resilient lives. However, it’s not always easy to persevere through change. The whole world is experiencing change due to the COVID-19 pandemic and there are many struggling to adapt to the new changes in society. This webinar will explore why it’s difficult to accept change, big or small, what is needed to cope with change, symptoms of poor coping skills, how to re-enter society and social situations without fear and anxiety post COVID-19, and more. Lead by Penn Foundation's Yvonne K. Caputo, MS, MA.


Skin Cancer Screening

Skin cancer is the most common cancer worldwide. 1 in 5 Americans will develop skin cancer by age of 70. Annual skin cancer screenings are important to your health. Doylestown Health and local dermatologist Mary Toporcer, MD are offering a FREE skin screening. This program is intended for those who are uninsured or underinsured and have not had a screening within the last two years. A Parent's Guide: Help Your Teen Manage their Healthcare (Virtual)

Tuesday, July 27, 2021 – Noon to 1 pm

Managing health care and health insurance can be complex and confusing. Learn the skills and information needed to help your college-age teen feel empowered to navigate and manage their health care. Topics of discussion include: tips for college bound students, how to prepare for appointments, advocacy, understanding basic insurance terms, urgent care vs. emergency care, medicine safety, and more!
