Doylestown Health encourages you to stay aware of your health needs and not to neglect care during the global coronavirus (COVID-19) national emergency.

Doylestown Health Medical Staff providers are now offering telehealth appointments, bringing you safe, effective healthcare in the comfort of your home. Telehealth offers an excellent alternative to visiting your doctor's office by connecting healthcare providers with patients through technology. By using equipment that you already have (telephone, smart phone, computer or other device), you can ensure that your ongoing health needs are met.

Telehealth is the safest option for managing routine healthcare and addressing the challenges of COVID-19, because you don't have to leave your house to see a doctor.

Telehealth is especially useful for patients who think that they have COVID-19, but aren't sick enough to require a hospital visit. Virtual "visits" allow providers to assess patients without the risk of potentially spreading coronavirus, and patients can get an order for a COVID-19 test if needed.
