New Cardiologist Announcement

We are pleased to welcome the following specialists to Doylestown Health Physicians' network of highly-skilled practitioners:

Dhanekula, Raja, MD

Joining our Doylestown Health Gastroenterology team, Dr. Dhanekula is a board-certified expert in hepatology. He provides comprehensive care for complex liver disease, offering innovative diagnostics and treatments, including the latest medications, as well as care oversight if liver transplant becomes necessary.

Dr. Dhanekula earned his medical degree from Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada, AP, India, and a Master of Science in Clinical Research at Rush University, Chicago, IL. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Abington Memorial Hospital and fellowship training in Transplant Hepatology Research, Gastroenterology and Hepatology and Advanced Hepatology, at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA.

Huang, Yonglu (Lucy), MD, PhD

Certified by the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry, Dr. Huang brings expertise in movement disorders, including Parkinson's disease and tremors, to our experienced Doylestown Health Neurology team. She specializes in providing evaluation and treatment of epilepsy and neuromuscular diseases including peripheral neuropathy and radiculopathy as well as general neurological disease.

Dr. Huang earned her medical degree at Anhui Medical University, China, and her doctorate degree in neuroscience from Wayne State University School of Medicine, MI. She completed her residency in neurology at Albany Medical Center, Albany, NY. She completed a fellowship in movement disorders at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital/Parkinson's disease Research Education and Clinical Center and a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

Novikov, Aleksey, MD

Dr. Novikov is a board certified gastroenterologist joining the experienced Doylestown Health Gastroenterology team. He specializes in advanced endoscopy procedures such as Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR) and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).

Dr. Novikov earned his medical degree from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and completed his residency in internal medicine, followed by a clinical gastroenterology fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Weill Cornell Medical Center. He then completed an Advanced Endoscopy fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Wankewicz, Alyssa, MD

Dr. Wankewicz is an infectious disease expert joining Doylestown Health Infectious Disease. Serving as consultants to primary care and other physicians, our infectious disease team is expert in the management of difficult, unusual, or complicated infections. Dr. Wankewicz has particular interest in infection accompanied by a high fever, infection that does not respond to treatment, and travel-related medicine.

Dr. Wankewicz earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia at Georgia Regents University. She completed an internal medicine residency at Greenwich Hospital (Yale affiliate) and an infectious diseases fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch.
