It’s no surprise that one of the top stressors in a person’s life is finances. Cancer patients are no exception when dealing with financial stress.
Patti’s Gift of Hope, a fundraiser to benefit The Bridge Fund at Doylestown Hospital Cancer Institute, raises money to assist cancer patients and bridge
the gap for those who cannot afford some aspects of their care not covered by insurance.

The fundraiser was created in memory of Patti Barrile, who passed away this past Thanksgiving of breast cancer. Donna Angotti, MD
, was Patti’s breast surgeon oncologist. Dr. Angotti was more
than just a doctor to Patti from the very beginning of her diagnosis. Dr. Angotti’s warmth and caring ways, coupled with her skills, helped Patti through
some very difficult times.
For those of us who were blessed to know her, Patti was truly an inspiration of hope.
