Doylestown Health is committed to keeping our community healthy through education and outreach. Here is a recap of our efforts in the community this past month:
Nutrition Expo at Wegmans Markets
Doylestown Health teamed up with Wegmans Markets in North Wales for an in-store Nutrition Expo. Shoppers enjoyed nutrition tips, delicious samples of healthy foods and free health screenings.
Doylestown Health Supports the March for Babies 2016 – Bucks County
Doylestown Health proudly sponsored the March of Dimes March for Babies 2016 – Bucks County on April 24th. Over 1200 people attended to raise awareness and funds to promote stronger, healthier babies.
Yuk! Local Children Learn About Poison Prevention
"Poison? STAY AWAY!" The children's voices gleefully shouted holding their crafted Mr. Yuk faces high! An interactive lesson and games helped children learn about household poisons and prevention.
Understanding Addiction and the Impact on Family
In collaboration with Doylestown Health and other regional organizations, this event presented tragic stories of addiction – and stories of hope – as well as local resources, interventions, and support.
Doylestown Health Connections at the Warminster ShopRite
Nearly 140 participants took an active part in staying healthy at Doylestown Health Connections in the Cowhey Family ShopRite during the month of April. Programs included keeping your vision and eyes healthy with Sebastian Lesniak, MD, a discussion on preventing diabetes with the Doylestown Health Diabetes Center and an oral cancer screening with Lawrence Stone, DDS.
Community Members Walk With A Doc and Learn About Cardiac Devices
Over 60 community members came out to Doylestown Health's monthly walking program, Walk With A Doc, to learn about heart health and cardiac devices.

Brownie Troops Learn First Aid
A local Brownie troop earned their First Aid Badge with the help of Doylestown Health! The Brownies learned first aid response, outdoor safety and treatment of minor injuries, practicing on their dolls.
