Doylestown Health Shines a Light on Arthritis
In an effort to promote bone and joint health, Doylestown Health hosted a one-day conference on May 14th with education, advice, and resources for those with arthritis.
The Community was "Up to the Challenge" at the Outdoor Challenge
Doylestown Health partnered with Cornerstone Clubs and the Central Bucks Family YMCA to offer free outdoor fitness activities on June 4th for all exercise levels. Events included an obstacle course, 1-mile fun walk, and mini-fitness classes.
Fishing for Sun Safety at the Willow Dale Elementary Fun Fair
Willow Dale Elementary students went "fishing!" 220 kids fell hook, line and sinker for our sun safety trivia game, learning safe sun practices and earning a beach ball prize!
National Cancer Survivors Day: Reaching for the Stars
On Saturday June 4th, Doylestown Health’s Cancer Institute welcomed Dr. Don Thomas, astronaut, author and cancer survivor, for a discussion and book signing.
Wellness Wednesdays at Bucks County Designer House & Gardens
Doylestown Health professionals offered free glucose and cholesterol screenings for visitors and volunteers at Bucks County Designer House & Gardens.
Doylestown Health Connections at the Warminster ShopRite
Doylestown Health Connections offered several programs in May that ranged from a Memory Workshop to migraine management. A Red Cross Blood Drive collected 31 pints of critically-needed blood. In addition, we provided fall risk information at the Ben Wilson Senior Center and cholesterol and glucose screenings at the Moreland Towers Health Fair.
