Doylestown Health is committed to keeping our community healthy through education and outreach. Here is a recap of our efforts in the community this past month:
Exploring the Five Senses
Children at the Horsham Montessori Children's House showed off their "sense-sational" abilities and put their hearing, seeing, tasting, feeling, and smelling to the test! Children learned how their five senses keep them healthy, and how doctors and nurses use their "senses" every day.
Penn Suburban Chamber of Commerce Health Expo
Doylestown Health sponsored a family-friendly booth at the Penn Suburban Chamber of Commerce Health Expo, which occurred during Lansdale Founders Day. Families stayed "well connected" to Doylestown Health through a game of Connect 4®, health information and giveaways.
Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing
Doylestown Health was the Health & Wellness sponsor during the Bucks Fever 11th Annual Golf Outing and Corporate Miniature Golf. Golfers stopped by our hydration station along the golf course path to get water, health information and a break from the sun.
Walk With A Doc Attendees Learn About the Benefits of Walking
At the August Walk With A Doc event, Marion Mass, MD, Doylestown Health pediatrician, led a discussion about the many benefits walking provides for all ages, and encouraged families to get out and walk together.
