Circle of Life: Giving Full Circle

Circle of Life

More than 65 sponsors Doylestown Health Foundation's Circle of Life: Giving Full Circle. We are especially grateful to this year's Luminary Sponsor, Angela and Dick Clark, and Angel Sponsors: Mary Jane Clemens, Jeanne and John Hubbard, Lockton Companies, SEI, and Richard V. Young.

Over $139,000 was raised for Doylestown Health's Cancer Institute and Doylestown Hospital Hospice. "As the hospital's largest fundraiser for the past 15 years, we are once again very grateful for the generosity of the sponsors, donors, and friends who support Circle of Life," said Jim Brexler, president and CEO of Doylestown Health. "Every gift matters, and this year 100% of the sponsorship contributions and donations will directly support our patients and programs."

Sponsors were invited to attend a fun filled Giving Full Circle reception held at Thompson BMW of Doylestown on November 10, 2017. Delicious food and professional catering services was provided by FLIK Hospitality and staff from Pine Run Retirement Community. Guests also enjoyed live music by James Lauchmen, specialty drinks by Boardroom Spirits, and photo opportunities with Aaron Mitchell Photography. Highlighting the evening were the personal testimonials of Doylestown Hospital Hospice Clinical Liaison, Kelly Brexler, and representatives from the Cathers and Clark families, who shared their experience with Doylestown Hospital Hospice and the positive impact it had on their loved ones lives.

Also part of the reception festivities, was the live drawing for the 16th Annual Doylestown Health Foundation Raffle. The night's big winner was Rose Ann and Jim Nelson, MD. Dr. Nelson, who recently joined Doylestown Heath, received the lucky news with a phone call from the event. Additional winners were Erin Slattery who won the second prize of Groceries for a Year, and John North who won the third prize of a Weber Grill. We appreciate the support of Thompson BMW of Doylestown, Joe Cowhey and Cowhey Family ShopRite of Warminster, Bill Vandegrift Appliances, and all of the raffle ticket purchasers who made the raffle a sell out!
