Tuesday, Feb 21, 2017

Doylestown Health is committed to keeping our community healthy through education and outreach. Here is a recap of our efforts in the community this past month:

Walk With A Doc Attendees Learn About Exercising Safely during Winter

Doylestown Health cardiologist, James Kmetzo, MD, led January's Walk With A Doc at the Central Bucks Family YMCA, where he gave a brief discussion on tips for exercising safely during colder months. After the talk, attendees enjoyed light exercise and a refreshing walk around the YMCA campus.

Parents Learn Tips for Unlocking Children's Potential

The community joined Doylestown Health Medical Staff physician, neuropsychologist James J. Stone, PsyD, for a discussion on childhood brain development, and tips for nurturing and maximizing a child's potential. This is part of the Parent Positive series, a free speaker series that connects health experts with local families to provide education on important topics affecting the community.
