With a clip of the ceremonial scissors, Doylestown Health Urgent Care is now open to treat minor illness and injury, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
"Isn't this exciting!" exclaimed Jim Brexler, Doylestown Health president and CEO—in reference not only to the spacious, modern and inviting space—but to the realization of the vision to provide fully integrated medical care to the Doylestown community and beyond.
Emphasizing the connectedness of care between Doylestown Health Urgent Care with Doylestown Health primary care physicians, Mr. Brexler underscored that Urgent Care is intended to be an extension of care, a "medical home," for busy families and others who live, work and play in the community, to receive medical care on their own schedule—including evenings and weekends.
