Doylestown Health Foundation’s Golf Ball Drop Raffle
A new addition to the golf classic this year was the inaugural Golf Ball Drop Raffle. Numbered golf balls were dropped from a helicopter on June 11 at Jericho National Golf Club. The three golf balls landing closest to the driving range target won a cash prize. The raffle raised $12,000 in support of Doylestown Health. This year's winners are:
1st Place: Dr. Eric Gejer, 27.5" from target
2nd Place: Irene Depasquale, 36.25" from target
3rd Place: Steve Murden, 53.75" from target
The helicopter made several passes before hovering above the target. The crowd cheered as 559 balls were dropped from the suspended helicopter. Thanks to our raffle sponsor, EventQuip, the crew at Jericho for their assistance, and all of the raffle ticket purchasers, the first annual Golf Ball Drop Raffle was deemed a success!
