More About The Clinician

Corinna Franklin, M.D., is committed to the care of young athletes, having started and developed the sports medicine program at Shriners Children's. She maintains a strong research interest in pediatric sports medicine as the PI for the Shriners Sports Consortium, a group spanning 11 centers engaged in multisite research. Her main research areas of interest include sex-based differences in sports medicine and sports biomechanics.

Dr. Franklin's goal is to get every athlete back to their sport in their best possible condition. Working at Shriners Children's allows her to care for a wide variety of athletes, including those with special needs and those in difficult circumstances. She has a particular interest in female athletes and their unique needs.

Dr. Franklin is a lifelong runner and always excited for the next race!
