More About The Clinician

Dana has been a registered nurse since 2005 and board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner since 2011 after graduating from Drexel University. Dana has managed diverse patient populations with both acute and chronic illness for over ten years. Her clinical background includes critical care, vascular surgery, cardiology, and gastrointestinal disease. She is passionate about nursing education, serving as a Clinical Associate for the School of Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania. She has published and presented nationally on a variety of topics. Dana is certified in critical care nursing and has successfully led multiple quality and patient safety initiatives at several institutions. Dana is also a certified yoga therapist who believes in using a “whole person” approach when working with patients.
