  • Independence Blue Cross Blue Distinction Center+ Cardiac Care

    Independence Blue Cross Blue Distinction® Center+ Cardiac Care

    Independence Blue Cross selected Doylestown Hospital as a continuing Blue Distinction® Center+ for Cardiac Care as part of the Blue Distinction Specialty Care program. To receive a Blue Distinction Center+ for Cardiac Care designation, a hospital must demonstrate its expertise in delivering safe and effective cardiac care, focusing on cardiac valve surgery, coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) episodes of care and must also demonstrate better cost-efficiency compared to their peers.

    Chest Pain Center Accreditation W/PCI

    The American College of Cardiology awarded Doylestown Hospital Chest Pain Center Accreditation with Primary PCI for its demonstrated expertise and commitment in treating patients with chest pain. Accreditation was awarded based on rigorous onsite evaluation of the staff’s ability to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients who may be experiencing a heart attack.
