Cancer Support Community Greater Philadelphia at Doylestown Hospital

Local residents living with cancer and their families can find strength and support at the Cancer Support Community Greater Philadelphia at Doylestown Hospital (formerly Gilda’s Club), offering convenient services and special programs for anyone touched by cancer.

The Cancer Support Community is a network of affiliate clubhouses where men, women and children living with cancer, as well as their friends and families, meet to learn how to live with cancer, whatever the outcome. The Cancer Support Community was formed in 2009 by the merger of The Wellness Community and Gilda’s Club Worldwide, the second of which was named for Saturday Night Live comedienne Gilda Radner, who died from ovarian cancer in 1989.

The Doylestown Hospital location features a kitchen area, art studio, resource library and space for yoga, meditation and Pilates classes. It is located on the main floor of Doylestown Hospital and is easily accessible from the Main Lobby. In addition to speakers and educational workshops, the focus is on healing and creative arts and the mind/body connection.

All of the Cancer Support Community workshops and programs are free and available to men, women and children.

The Cancer Support Community Greater Philadelphia at Doylestown Hospital is open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesdays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and will be open for other events and meetings as scheduled. For more information, call 215-345-2022.
