Doylestown Health Educational Exhibit at the Bucks County Children’s Museum
Doylestown Health's Della Penna Pediatric Center has partnered with the Bucks County Children's Museum in New Hope to present a brand new, virtual hospital educational exhibit. “Hospital” by Doylestown Health will feature an examination area complete with X-ray machine and heart monitor, a life-sized operation game table where children can hone their surgical skills, as well as a kid-sized ambulance where children can learn about emergency medicine and the role of an EMT/paramedic. The exhibit will also include the opportunity to learn about the organs, bones and other parts of the body.
The goal of the educational exhibit at the Bucks County Children’s Museum is to expose children to different medical situations in a friendly, anxiety-free setting. Through role-play and exploration, children will learn more about the medical field, how the body works and what it means to be healthy.
