Hand Therapy

Hand therapy is specialized rehabilitation for conditions affecting the elbow, hands, wrists and fingers caused by illness or injury. Hand therapy exercises can help anyone experiencing limited function in their hand, wrist or elbow.

Hand Conditions We Treat

About Our Program

Our certified hand therapists (CHTs) are occupational therapists who have completed specialized training to help patients with hand pain, wrist pain, finger pain and elbow pain, including conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome. After a comprehensive evaluation, our therapists develop a personalized treatment plan and educate patients on their condition and treatment options.

Our program includes:

  • Adaptive equipment training
  • Desensitization
  • Sensory re-education
  • Custom splinting
  • Therapeutic exercise
  • Thermal modalities
  • Wound care

We constantly monitor each patient’s condition and progress of treatment to ensure that we are achieving the best functional outcome.
