As a community-focused hospital and cancer center, our goal is to care for patients from the time of initial diagnosis, before and after surgery, for the duration of radiation or chemotherapy treatments and throughout recovery and survivorship. Our support groups provide patients with opportunities to participate according to their own preference or personal needs.
Survivorship care planning is an important component of quality cancer treatment, as it identifies important milestones for follow-up and provides patients with resources and information to keep them well.
We encourage patients and families to visit the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center site to search for clinical trials or to download the new Jefferson Clinical Trials app that allows you to quickly reference the Thomas Jefferson University clinical trials database.
We offer the flexibility of registering for classes, attending workshops or participating in events at the hospital or in the Doylestown community.
