Mother and Baby Care

From the moment you step into the VIA Maternity Center, our supportive mother-baby nursing staff will provide you with personalized care. The philosophy of the VIA Maternity Center is to care for mothers and babies together and provide all care at the bedside. Nurses place a priority on meeting your individual needs and empowering you to participate actively in your care. We provide up to date information on how to care for, feed, protect and comfort your baby. All of our nurses are skilled to assist with breastfeeding and lactation consultants are available on a daily basis. We encourage your questions so we can best prepare you to leave the hospital feeling confident in caring for yourself and your baby.

Nursery care is available and if specialized care is required for your baby, we have a Level II Intensive Care Nursery (ICN). Your baby will receive around the clock care with in-house physicians and specially trained neonatal nurses.
