A Healthy Weigh
This program incorporates healthy, "real" food into a plan customized to each person's nutrition needs. Our highly qualified team includes a registered and licensed dietitian-nutritionist, licensed counselors and exercise physiologists (Cornerstone Clubs).
The curriculum of this program is based on the three pillars of health:
- Food & Nutrition
- Exercise & Movement
- Mind & Behavior Awareness
An initial individual consultation with the dietitian will be scheduled before the program begins. In this meeting, the dietitian will determine individual nutrition needs and devise a customized plan.
The Program Is Divided Into Two Phases:
Phase 1: The Beginning Journey
The Beginning Journey is an initial 8-week program that focuses on the basics of attaining a healthy weight and healthy well-being. This phase also includes an introduction to mindfulness and exercise.
Phase 2: The Continuing Journey
The Continuing Journey includes five, 8-week segments that build on the nutrition and wellness knowledge learned in Phase 1. More in-depth nutrition and health-related topics that influence wellness, weight loss and weight management will be explored. Weekly recipes and mindfulness inspirations provided. A half-hour individual follow-up consultation can be scheduled upon completion of Phase 2.
After completing the Beginning Journey and the first eight weeks of the Continuing Journey series, participants are eligible to meet with the registered dietitian for a follow-up consultation.
