Pathology and Laboratory Services
Through our membership with Sidney Kimmel Cancer Network at Jefferson, Doylestown Health has access to the most advanced testing services using the latest state-of-the-art diagnostic technology.
Our board-certified pathologists study body tissues, blood, urine and other specimens to identify disease, its causes and progression.
Though patients don't often meet these specially trained physicians, the laboratory analysis and test results they provide guide the diagnosis and treatment of nearly all medical conditions.
Meet Our Team
The Cancer Risk and Genetics Program is available to identify a patient's personal risk for cancer and other diseases.
Advanced Cancer Testing
Our participation with Sidney Kimmel Cancer Network at Jefferson allows our pathologists to use the most advanced testing services to identify and stage cancer, and offer high-level, specialty care to provide accurate diagnosis, sometimes even before symptoms appear or the disease progresses.
Diagnosis and Treatment
If cancer is diagnosed, our pathologists work in partnership with Doylestown Health's Cancer Institute to determine the best course of treatment.
