Walk with a Doc

Did you know that walking just 30 minutes per day can reduce your risk of heart disease, stroke and diabetes?

At Doylestown Health, we are committed to helping our community get healthy and stay healthy. We've joined the national initiative – Walk With A Doc – to help our community take a step towards better health.

Walking Benefits

Walking has also been shown to:

  • Improve blood pressure
  • Help maintain weight
  • Lower risk for obesity

How It Works

Each event will begin with a short health discussion given by a Doylestown Health clinician, followed by a 30- to 45-minute walk around the Doylestown Hospital campus. Registration is encouraged for each event.

Who Can Attend

EVERYONE! Bring a friend, a family member or a coworker.

Walk With A Doc is Free

There is no need for special gear, just lace up a pair of your most comfortable shoes and join us for a morning of fitness and fun. Participants will enjoy refreshments, giveaways and more!

Get Involved

Walk With A Doc is held monthly, with a different speaker and health topic featured at each event. Register online or call 215-345-2121 to participate in an upcoming Walk With a Doc. This program is sponsored by Doylestown Health's Friends of the Heart Institute, an all-volunteer organization committed to advancing the highest quality cardiac care to patients and their families.
