February Community Education

Doylestown Health remains committed to bringing quality education to the community. Join Doylestown Health certified health education specialists and nutritionists, local mental health professionals, and other select local professionals as they present important subject matter.

Doylestown Health is pleased to offer both in-person and online classes and events. We also offer an outdoor, socially distanced, low-impact exercise, and health education activity called Walk with a Doc. Registration is required.

Online Learning Made Easy

Follow these easy steps to pre-register for an online class:

  1. Click on the links below to register for the online educational webinars.
  2. You will receive an email in advance of the class start time containing a link to follow on the day of the scheduled online class.
  3. Mark your calendar!
  4. At the time of your scheduled online class(es), using a smartphone, tablet, or computer, locate the confirmation email and click the "Join Virtual" link OR "Click Here to Join" link. Please note, some online events may require a password to join – this can be found in the registration confirmation email.

Oral health is very important for your overall health and understanding dental health can help keep you in tip-top shape. Come learn from Tina Erb, dental hygienist of the Ann Silverman Community Clinic, about all the in’s and out’s of keeping your mouth clean. There will be time at the end to ask questions. Sealant Saturday for Children

February is national children’s dental health month. This month was organized to promote the good benefits of oral health in children and in turn, promote good overall health. The Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic is celebrating by hosting a free, Sealant Saturday event where there will be free sealants given to children of clinic patients.

Child Abuse Prevention Workshop: Grooming Children, Families, and Organizations

Tuesday, February 28, 2023 – 12:00 to 1:00 pm or 2:00 to 3:00 pm or 5:00 to 6:00 pm

During this 60-minute workshop, adults will learn how predators groom children, families, and organizations to isolate and abuse their victims. Using case studies, participants will learn the signs of grooming and the strategies predators use to find and lure victims. This workshop will be ONLINE ONLY. Registration is required.
