Daisy Award
Our health system participates in an international recognition program, The DAISY Award, started in memory of J. Patrick Barnes to express gratitude to nurses for outstanding, compassionate care. The program honors one registered nurse each month. Winning nurses receive a special pin and a hand-carved statue award. DAISY Award winners are also entitled to various scholarships.
Our nurses are nominated by anyone in the organization — patients, family members, other nurses, physicians, other clinicians and staff — anyone who experiences or observes extraordinary compassionate care being provided by a nurse.

The Rose Award
We are pleased to introduce The R.O.S.E Award new at Doylestown Health for 2023! ROSE stands for Remarkable Outstanding Service Everyday and is awarded to Patient Care Techs or Unit Clerks who exemplify these characteristics throughout their work. Staff, patients, and visitors to the hospital are all able to nominate an associate for the ROSE Award and nomination forms can be found alongside Daisy Award nomination forms throughout the hospital. We already know what a great job our PCTs and Unit Clerks do and we are excited to be able to recognize them with this new award.
