Primary Care

Your primary care provider (PCP) is often the first point of contact for your medical and healthcare needs. Many people develop long-standing relationships with a PCP who can spot issues before they become major health problems. Regular visits to a PCP help prevent problems, promote wellness, and treat illnesses before they become more serious.

Our specialists in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine and Pediatrics are committed to providing you with the best medical care available from experienced, board certified physicians.

Health Information

Services

The services provided by your primary care physician include health promotion, counseling and patient education, as well as disease prevention, health maintenance and the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.

Your primary care provider also serves as your advocate within the healthcare system, coordinating care provided by other medical specialists if the need arises. For example, a primary care physician may refer a patient with a heart concern to a cardiologist, and then coordinate services with the cardiologist in the best interest of the patient. Our primary care physicians also:

  • Diagnose and treat illness for the entire family
  • Offer regular health screenings and education
  • Provide preventive care and immunizations
  • Provide education about healthy lifestyles
  • Develop an individualized plan of care
  • Refer to, and coordinate care by, other medical specialists when necessary
  • Care for motor vehicle or worker's compensation accidents
