At 11:15 am on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, an EF2 tornado touched down on the Doylestown Hospital campus. The 115 MPH winds flipped cars, shattered windows in Cancer Institute and tore into our childcare center, Children's Village. Unfortunately, the beloved childcare facility sustained significant damage both inside and out and is now temporarily unusable.
Despite our shock at the destruction left behind by the fast moving storm, we were quickly able to secure a new and exciting place for our children to learn and grow. We are proud to announce that we have reopened in a new location at 4139 Ferry Road, Doylestown, 18902.
Donations Are Being Accepted
We are grateful for the outpouring of replacement toys for the children as well as the messages about what Children's Village has meant to a generation of children and families. We are accepting donations in support of our recovery and repair efforts.
