Hand Surgery

For the treatment and repair of the hand, wrist and elbow, the hand surgery experts at Doylestown Health perform a wide range of procedures, from minimally invasive to complex microsurgery procedures, that can restore function and comfort to the hand and upper extremities.

With convenient Bucks County locations, including an office on the Doylestown Hospital campus, our dedicated hand surgeons treat patients of all ages, and take the time necessary to thoroughly explain every option to the patient. Hand, wrist or elbow surgery is considered only after all conservative measures to achieve improved comfort and mobility are exhausted.

Our physicians specialize in the treatment of:

  • Fracture
  • Sports injury
  • Carpal Tunnel syndrome
  • Dupuytren's contracture
  • Trigger finger
  • Nerve repair
  • Joint replacement
  • Hand, wrist and thumb arthritis
  • Tendon repair, and more

Rehabilitation Therapy for the Hand

Once surgery is complete, patients are encouraged to participate in rehabilitative therapy to increase motion and restore strength. Personalized rehabilitation by certified hand therapists (CHTs) specializing in the elbow, hands, wrists and fingers completes the patient's journey to healing and comfort. These CHTs are occupational therapists who have completed advanced specialized training to help patients minimize downtime and discomfort, and return to maximal function as quickly as possible.
