“The Simple Weigh encourages whole foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins, while limiting fat and highly processed foods,” explains Debbie Davis, a registered, licensed dietitian-nutritionist from Doylestown Health. “Vegetarian and low-carb meal plan options are also available.”

Why Whole Foods are Best for Weight Loss

“Eating a diet rich in whole foods can help with weight loss simply because we have less room for higher-calorie, less nutritious processed foods,” explains Debbie. “Whole foods are rich in nutrients, antioxidants, and fiber, making them much healthier than highly processed foods, which can increase the risk of heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and high blood pressure.”

Designed for flexibility, The Simple Weigh is offered year-round. After attending for a year, you become eligible to attend The Simple Weigh free of charge.
