Two Locations

Clark Center for Breast Imaging offers two convenient locations:

  • On the Ground Floor of the hospital (near the Art Walk), a full range of breast imaging services are available including 3D mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound, and ultrasound-guided breast biopsy. This new location provides 5,000 square feet of additional space to accommodate patients efficiently and comfortably. Each imaging room has its own dressing room for increased privacy and personal space.
  • The Clark Center for Breast Imaging at The Health and Wellness Center (in Warrington) provides you with quick and easy access to preventive screening 3D mammography.

Advanced Screening and Diagnostics

Clark Center for Breast Imaging provides the following services and amenities:

  • More appointments available due to additional evening and weekend hours
  • “Quick Path” appointments for patients who have a new lump
  • Our expert radiologists who diagnose breast cancer in its earliest stages
  • Additional dedicated imaging space including three mammography rooms, three ultrasound rooms, and one stereotactic room

The Clark Center for Breast Imaging is designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology.

Health Information

Prevention

Take charge of your breast health and reduce the risk of breast cancer by scheduling a routine mammogram. Our Clark Center for Breast Imaging specializes in the earliest possible detection of breast disease using 3D mammography (breast tomosynthesis) to provide a more in-depth look at breast tissue as well as breast ultrasound and 3T MRI with Ambient Experience for high-risk breast cancer screening. We also perform diagnostics like breast biopsy if a suspicious mass needs further investigation.

Symptoms

Different people have different symptoms of breast cancer. Some people do not have any signs or symptoms at all. Some warning signs of breast cancer are:

  • New lump in the breast or underarm (armpit).
  • Thickening or swelling of part of the breast.
  • Irritation or dimpling of breast skin.
  • Redness or flaky skin in the nipple area or the breast.
  • Pulling in of the nipple or pain in the nipple area.
  • Nipple discharge other than breast milk, including blood.
  • Any change in the size or the shape of the breast.
  • Pain in any area of the breast.

Keep in mind that these symptoms can happen with other conditions that are not cancer. If you have any signs or symptoms that worry you, be sure to talk to your health provider right away.

Diagnostics and Testing

Our Clark Center for Breast Imaging offers the following screening and diagnostic services for all breast health needs:

You will need a physician's order for all services at the Women's Diagnostic Centers. Managed care patients also require a referral for certain studies.

We offer coordinated, same-day testing for specific breast problems and "Quick Path" appointments for patients who have a new lump.
