The VIA Maternity Center is where life begins and families grow. For more than 90 years, Doylestown Health has offered one of the best maternity programs in the region. When we talk about Maternity care at Doylestown Health, the conversation must begin with the founders of our hospital, the Village Improvement Association (VIA). With their vision, dedication, and commitment the doors of Doylestown Hospital opened in 1923. From the day of opening until this present day, the women of the VIA, have understood the importance of providing excellent maternity services.
Our professional staff is highly respected in the community and we feel honored to play a role in bringing approximately 1,300 babies into the world every year. This expert team provides services from pregnancy through birth and postpartum for mothers and newborns, in a family-centered approach. Whether a pregnancy and birth is low risk or more complicated, you will receive excellent care by an experienced team who brings compassion to the bedside and finds great joy developing relationships with families.
Our maternity services and parent education programs understand that no two families are alike, therefore, we take the time to accommodate your individual needs.
