Doylestown Health's board-certified interventional cardiologists offer catheter-based therapies (cardiac catheterization) for non-surgical innovations to diagnose and treat blood vessels and heart structures.


Interventional cardiologists diagnose and treat a broad range of cardiovascular disorders with symptoms including:

Doylestown Health's team performs an average of 600 interventions and 1,600-2,000 cardiac catheterizations each year. Our expert interventional cardiologists also perform Intra-arterial thrombectomy (IAT), the minimally invasive retrieval of clots for acute ischemic strokes caused by large vessel blockage (clots). Many heart patients are referred to our Cardiac Rehab program for medically-supervised exercise and education. Sessions begin in the hospital and continue on an outpatient basis after discharge.
